Papal Elections 2012

The three papal candidates have been announced:
HG Bishop Raphael
HG Bishop Tawadros
Hegomen Fr. Raphael Ava Mina
The Coptic Orthodox church announces a fast of the high rank in the upcoming three days on the 31 of October to the 2nd of November 2012 , so that God may choose the most righteous shepherd for His flock.

The next step in the papal election will be the altar name draw after the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, November 4. A blindfolded child will randomly pull out a name from some compartment. The candidate whose name is pulled out will become the 118th Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
